Last Week.
We were back in the training centre after what felt like a very long time, and with the entire team back together; after a period that had us spread out for various events and races.

We had multiple training environments all 4 days, with varied sets, slopes, and conditions. We pulled off two successful race simulations both Saturday and Sunday, some good skiing, and changes in our typical leader board. So, congratulations to you all for bringing the intensity, and for taking some risks.

Another great jump session in the Park (thanks Dave), and bump session as well. In both cases we saw amazing adjustments and improvements as you all quickly became comfortable and relaxed after some shaky first runs.

Great teamwork and turnout(19) for the escape rooms, lots of fun.

This week.

Last Week(s)
Where do I start…..
We have been in Crabbe Mountain, Red Mountain, and Mt Naeba. We have had our share of triumphs, and some disappointments as well. Fortunately we had some first rate training last week, and it looks like this coming week will be even better, hard surfaces and sunshine! We have two solid training blocks before our next big test in Silverstar. (I havn’t forgotten the gang heading out tomorrow for BC Games).

This week.
We will be training on Blackcomb all weekend.
Thursday SL
Friday GS
Saturday GS
Sunday SL
We will also make some time to get back over to whistler to see some amazing racing at NorAm finals.
Most of our first year athletes are on their way to Silverstar for BC Games, accompanied by Jose, Bob Deeks, and Gloria. Best of luck to you all, we will be cheering from home and watching the results. Please keep in touch and let us know how you are all doing.

Coming Up
More training the following weekend, making our final push for Teck Finals and Whistler Cup.
For those graduating from the program this year, there will be a FIS program information night in April, details to come.
We will have signups for Silverstar live by next week, I will let you know when that is ready. As always please stay tuned to the WhatsApp group as all the important day to day info will be found there.
