WMSC FIS Update for November 6, 2022
Fitness Schedule
We have just finished our last week of the of our fall off snow preparation period. We had solid effort from all the participating athletes who were able attend the fitness testing. New programs from these results will be designed for our fall preparation period. Fitness sessions will for the remainder of the 2022-23 season, from November 7 to April 30th will be conducted after school or after skiing. For the upcoming week (Nov 7 to Nov 10) there will be no supervised dryland as we are having some down time to prepare for our first camp on snow of the winter. This time can be used wisely by spending some extra on academics, preparing equipment and packing for our departure on Thursday afternoon and doing some light cardio and mobility work on your own. For those athletes remaining at home you can continue with the current strength program on your own and you are able to use the club gym during club house hours 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Any athletes with injury should contact Richard or Jess to discuss their program for returning to snow or fitness training.
