Hello U14 Parents!

The moment has finally come for registration details with regards to our U14 Sun Peaks pre-season camp. Please find attached the Trip Sheet and note that registration and payment deadline is October 15th, 2022.

This pre-season camp will take place from November 18th to 27th and is a team trip lead by the U14 coaches. It is a great opportunity for quality, pre-season training, and a fantastic team-building experience for athletes.

Trip Overview
We will depart on a 50-passenger bus on November 18th with select pick-up locations along the Sea to Sky (more details will be announced).
The camp will consist of two training blocs, with a day off-snow on November 23rd. We will ski the morning of November 27th until lunch, then hop on the bus for the return trip to Vancouver/Whistler area.

Athletes can expect to ski full days and participate in dryland sessions. We will allocate time daily for schoolwork when necessary. Stay tuned for a packing list and more specific details before the start of camp.

Equipment
Athletes will need to bring SL and GS skis and gear, and can expect to use SL skis for Day 1 of the camp. The bus will provide plenty of space for bags and equipment.

Meals and Accommodation
We will be staying at Bear Country Lodging and will be on the meal plan for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is recommended each athlete pack extra nutritious snacks for on-hill training and after skiing. Meals are not provided during our travel to Sun Peaks, so athletes should bring a packed lunch, water bottle and snacks.

Lift Passes
Athletes will need to bring their Whistler Season Pass in order to get a discounted lift ticket in Sun Peaks. Please note that Epic Passes may not be accepted.
