Net Set up | Whistler Cup Social |Grouse Training
It’s Nets Time Again – February 1st at Garbo Hut 9:30 am
It’s race time again and the safety nets need to be in place! With U16 speed training this weekend and the U14 Teck GS race next weekend, and training thereafter we need to make sure our Dave Murray National Training Centre is ready to go!
Net set up will take place tomorrow, Saturday February 1st). Please meet at Garbo Hut at 9:30 a.m. Please email to make sure we have your attendance noted and sign in on the sign-in sheet at Garbo tomorrow morning. Graham Ross will be there to steer the volunteers.
Please make every effort to attend. A large turnout will help get the job done quickly!
Please also mark your calendars for* Friday February 7th at 9:30 a.m*. for any finishing touches prior to the U14 race so that we can get 2 great days of racing for our athletes!
Again, please meet at the Garbo Hut at 9:30 a.m.

Join us for a fun après ski social hosted by the Whistler Mountain Ski Club board of directors. We’ll serve appetizers and refreshments, and you can meet the volunteer organizing committee behind the 28th edition of the Whistler Cup.
The Whistler Cup welcomes over 400 U14 & U16 athletes from across the globe. To make this a success, we need you!
As hosts of the event, the WMSC needs more than 400 volunteers to make the event a memorable success for all. Want to know more? Then this social is the place to be!
• Meet the volunteer coordinator, Abbie – come armed with questions about what the right fit is for you!
• Meet key members of the Race Organizing Committee – learn all you can about what it takes to put on this event.
• Meet some key sponsors, without whom this event couldn’t happen!
• We’ll have event videos, sign-up sheets, Whistler Cup merch and more.
The Whistler Cup has a long track record of showcasing future stars and many of Canada’s biggest World Cup and Olympic alpine and ski-cross stars have also graced the event over the years, experiencing international competition for the first time on their journey toward success on the world stage!

Meet at the tram at 4pm for upload at 4:30pm.
Download at 8pm for pick up between 8:15-8:30pm.
