Meet the Weasels & NorAm Social | Saturday, December 10th

On the 10th of December, come out and join us for a fun evening to learn about ski race volunteering from the legendary group, the Whistler Weasel workers. This event is open to all age groups and members of the community and though we enjoy time with the athletes, this is an adult only event. Looking forward to seeing you all there and if fortune is on your side, becoming an official Weasel may be in your future too.

Come one come all! Get your WMSC Season Kick off fundraiser Tickets, on sale now!

This Saturday, October 22nd, we’re kicking off the season with a party, 7pm to 9pm at the Longhorn Saloon. Click here to purchase your tickets, $75 which includes drinks and appetizers. Live and silent auction action as well.

The Whistler Weasel Workers have stepped up with a $20,000 fund matching promise

This year we have a fundraising goal of $50,000 to go towards our new timing hut at the bottom of the Dave Murray National Training Center. In big support of these efforts, the Whistler Weasel Workers have come forward to match these funds up to $20,000. For those new to this ski racing community, the Weasels are a volunteer, non profit society, who since the 1970s, have come together for the advancement of ski racing in Whistler and around the world. They have been instrumental in the execution of major events from World Cups, National Championship, NorAms, World Championships and Olympic Games. Every dollar you donate towards the first $20,000 will be doubled by their generosity!

Our other major contributors to this timing hut project are the Whistle Blackcomb Foundation and Wheaton Precious Metals through the Dave Murray Training Center, both stepping up with $50,000 donations. Let’s do our part and get to $50,000 this weekend!

Donate a $1,000 and get on the Timing hut donor board.

Every giving over $1,000 will be recognized on our official donor board to be placed at the timing hut. Donations can start now through the BC Amateur Sport Trust Fund and receive a tax receipt. Get us started early and be the first to kick of this season. Click here to make your donation today

Thank you all for coming out to support the club and we’ll see you on Saturday for the morning AGM and in the evening for the party.

Sincerely,

Mike Janyk
