New Timing Volunteers

The Club is actively seeking 3-4 parents of U12 athletes to join us in developing the next generation of timing team members. No prior timing experience is necessary – we are looking for individuals who are keen to learn. You will have the invaluable opportunity to be mentored by the highly experienced Henry Voss, working out of our state-of-the-art timing hut located at the base of the race area.

As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in the nerve center of every race hosted by WMSC. We welcome anyone with a curious technical mind to become part of this exciting venture. Your involvement will not only contribute to the success of our races but also provide a unique and rewarding experience. Join us in shaping the future of our timing team!

• Cam Alexander demonstrates his prowess with a stellar third place finish in the Men’s downhill event at Kvitfjell.
• Kyle Alexander makes his mark by earning his first-ever World Cup point in the SG event at Garmisch-Patenkirchen, Germany

It is not only our seasoned athletes, but our rising stars are also making waves in the ski cross world. Nick Katrusiak claims gold, showcasing exceptional talent. Emeline Bennett follows suit, clinching a well deserved silver, while Anne Marie Joncas secures 5th position.

We are training on Blackcomb this week, with a few athletes on Whistler (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) to forerun the U16 race.

Note there is NO training tomorrow, Thursday. Good luck to all the athletes headed to Apex!

By popular demand, join the iconic Rob Boyd on the second installment of the DH hill race on Sunday, February 18 from 4 to 6 pm. at the WMSC Lounge
