This Week At the Club
This week saw the announcement of our new Executive Director, Jeff Lackie, who will be joining the Club starting July 20th. We look forward to welcoming Jeff to the WMSC team. You can read the press release in the Pique HERE.
Our first U16 and FIS Athletes Chile Prep Camp has kicked off with athletes going through their paces with Sandy, Jeff and Dana. The crew has 2 more days of hiking, rollerblading, nutritional studies and more in preparation of the August Camp.
We would like to congratulate Hannah Jensen who was recently selected to join the Alpine Canada Women’sDevelopment Team for the 26/27 Season. Hannah has been in good company with fellow WMSC Alumni Lola Gilbert, Thea Thorn, Dreas Gibbons and Kingsley Parkhill in the BC training group. Further information can be found on the BC Alpine News.
Club Communications
WhatsApp Communities & Groups will be updated on June 30. Athletes and family members registered for the 25/26 Season will be removed. All regsitered athletes and families will be added to the Team Comms when registration 26/27 Registration is completed.
Our new Website is undergoing final testing and will be launched in the coming weeks.
E-news will be distributed from the new site as a bi-weekly update and will hopefully be a smooth transition.
