The pre-season camp in Sun Peaks is well under way! We have now had two full days of skiing with great conditions, and are mid-way through our SL bloc. Everyone is finding their routine, getting good volume on snow (free skiing and in gates), and contributing to a growing team dynamic.

For those of you in the Sea to Sky, we’re looking forward to our program kick-off weekend on December 8th-11th!

Intent for Team Travel (Revelstoke) – Action Item
Please take a moment to let me know whether your intent is to have your child travel with the team or with yourself for the Revelstoke Provincials on March 30th-April 2nd. This event is a coach-led trip, so this information will be important to help us plan the appropriate transportation.

Fitness Assessment Results
Results from the Fitness Assessment from October have now been made available to coaches. If yourself or your child would like to view them, please let me know and I will send them to you directly.

Individual Family Meetings
If you haven’t had the chance to book an individual family meeting, stay tuned for the coming weekly updates as I will open up more time slots on SignUp.com once the team returns from Sun Peaks.

WhatsApp U14 Coach Updates
If you haven’t joined this group yet, please let me know and I will send you the invitation link directly. Coaches will use this group to send reminders, updates, and important information throughout the season. Only coaches will be able to message the group; if you need a coach, please contact them directly (direct WhatsApp, email, or call).

U14 Fridge Calendar
The fridge calendar is now available on Team Pages. I’ve also attached another copy of it here. Athletes may register to extra training days with the office before the Sunday of each week.

Team Pages App
Our Team Pages App is up and running and has outlines all events happening in our U14 Division Calendar. We ask that each athlete get into the habit of using the attendance feature to indicate whether they will be attending events.

This is our hub, and all information will flow through this platform for the duration of the season. Events will be updated as our plans change, so please do your best to check all events before showing up; ensuring you have the right gear for a successful session!
