Welcome to the 2021 SWAP. We are pleased to be able to host this event once again, this time with the opportunity to welcome back the public, as a one-day event.

SWAP HOURS

• Items verification and drop off – 7:30 – 10:30 am
• Sale – 11:30 – 5:00 pm
• Collection of unsold items – 5:00 – 6:30 pm
  (All unclaimed items will be donated)

• Payouts – Will be by e-transfers week of Oct 12 – 15

To enable us to run this event in ONE day and create the inventory, all seller forms must be emailed in advance by Wednesday, October, 6th – 12:00 pm at whistlercup@wmsc.info Items will be verified and received at drop off hours above.

Attention All WMSC Families – The SWAP Needs You Now!

It is that time of year again! The WMSC SWAP is just around the corner! This year the SWAP will take place over 1 day only (Saturday October 9th). The WMSC SWAP operates 100% through volunteers and there are plenty of shifts for everyone – but get your choices in fast!

The Fairmont is hosting the SWAP in the MacDonald Ballroom and we will be following all provincial Covid guidelines including mandatory masks.

Volunteer shifts are:

• Set Up
• Equipment check-in
• Door monitors (greeters and checking receipts)
• Cashier
• Floor Sales (equipment and soft goods)
• Tear Down

Parents, please note that while there are many shifts needing to be covered, we only have shifts for U16 and FIS athletes. The area behind the check-in tables and cash tables is for adults that have signed up for those shifts only please.

The net proceeds from the SWAP support the ski club, race programs and WMSC athletes. Please come and support your club. The SWAP is a tremendous opportunity for families and racers to exchange gear.

Parent Coach Meetings

Please join our parent-coach orientation sessions to meet your Lead Coaches, discuss the pre-season camp, tentative race calendar, trips, early loads, fitness, gear and more. We will have a Q&A period at the end.

Oct 4th – U12 from 6 to 7 pm – Join U12 Meeting

Oct 6th – U14 from 6 to 7 pm – Join U14 Meeting

Oct 6th – U16 from 7:30 to 8:30 pm – Join U16 Meeting

Sun Peaks and Panorama Pre-Season Camps |November

Lead Coaches are preparing budgets for these camps and they will send trip sheets soon. U16 and FIS Panorama camps will have full and half camp options. The specific dates will be published with the trip sheet. U14 Panorama Camp will be a full camp option only. However, we will have a shorter camp for U14s in Sun Peaks. U12 Sun Peaks is a full camp option. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for details!
