Sun Peaks Festival Need to Know Info
• Kids will receive lift passes and bibs when meeting coaches in the morning.

• No race suits or chin guards allowed.

• $5 Cash Lunches outside Sun Peaks race club. I recommend kids packing snacks, sunscreen and plenty of water. Coaches will stop by the lunch spot during the event with their teams.

• Parents should bring their Whistler Season Pass for 50% discount.

• Plan is to meet kids outside the Sun Peaks Day Lodge each day for 8:30. Kids should arrive with ski gear on and ready to go.

Parent Lift Tickets for Sun Peaks: Parents can pre order your Sun Peaks lift ticket through the contact below. You will get 50% off if you give your Whistler Season Pass Number and 25% off as a parent of a child competing in the festival. You may also opt to visit guest services in person for this.

Equipment: Slalom Ski’s (no chin guards)
Finish: 14:30ish base of resort
Awards & Uncle Chris the Clown: Starting at 4pm in the village. Also meet Olympian Nancy Greene!!

Saturday, 25/03/2023 – Skill Events (Moguls, Kombi & Jump)

Equipment Checklist
Please label all equipment and ensure bindings and boots are fitted correctly. If you are unsure on bindings let the coach know and we can check them on hill.
U12 Equipment Checklist
• Correct Ski’s, Boots and Poles
• Lift Pass
• Pack Lunch
• Hard eared helmet
• Backpack
• Back protection (recommended)
• Gloves (warm, dry, and possibly padded is a good option) Spare gloves are always a good idea
• Ski socks (extras on a cold day)
• Facemask
• Water bottle and/or thermos
• Snacks
• Warm thermal layers and face covering
• Warm, water resistant outerwear
• Inner layers like soft shell or puffy jacket
