U16/FIS Wittenburg Camp Registration | Sep 21st
Good Evening,
I’m pleased to confirm the Wittenburg camp for October 7-14th. This will be an intense but rewarding camp and I’m looking forward to working with this group before the season starts.
We have 9 athletes and two coaches attending this project. The projected cost of this camp will be $4950, excluding flights.
I’d ask that you please book the following flights for your athletes:
October 7th - AC9432 YVR-MUC, connecting with AC9477 MUC-HAM
October 14th - AC 9263 HAM-MUC, connecting with AC9433 MUC-YVR
These are codeshare flights with Lufthansa.
My intention is to minimize the number of missed school days while maximizing the amount of skiing we can do over Thanksgiving, including a later departure on Wednesday, October 7th. Flights through Munich have historically proven more reliable for connecting bags and passengers than Frankfurt.
Matilda, one of our new FIS coaches will be flying in from Sweden to help coach this camp. I will plan to drive down in a team van, departure details to follow in WhatsApp group.

Itinerary
Oct 7: Depart YVR
Oct 8: Arrive HAM. 1.5-hour bus to Wittenberg, set up the ski room, unpack.
Oct 9–12: Two sessions a day, 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Eating between sessions and tuning skis.
Oct 13: One session in the morning then packing up skis and cleaning up ski room.
Oct 14: Morning bus to HAM, fly HAM–YVR.
