Dear WMSC community,

The Whistler Blackcomb Foundation Telus Winter Classic is fast approaching, but there is still time to buy tickets or enter a team.

The Whistler Blackcomb Foundation are an incredible organisation who support most good causes throughout the Sea to Sky corridor and they are incredibly important to the Whistler Mountain Ski Club and our community.

Not only did they donate $250,000 towards the construction of the Dave Murray National Training centre which provides us with a world class racing and training venue, but they also donated to the renovations that we have made to the fitness facilities in the clubhouse this year.

The Whistler Blackcomb Foundation have also pledged fund matching for a new timing hut in the medium term future, and we are delighted that in the shorter term $300,000 as the Legacy partner in the construction of housing that we will be able to rent to our coaches.

The Telus Winter Classic on the Foundation’s primary fundraiser and it also happens to be a great couple of days! Therefore I would like to encourage anyone who would like to enter a team, or buy a ticket to the Winetastic event at the Fairmont, or the Gala at the Roundhouse where there are fantastic silent and live auction items to do so!
