Annual General Meeting & Fitness Testing Details
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I wanted to encourage everyone to this season kick-off meetings, athlete fitness testing and the 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Club. The meetings for parents and members start at 9am on October 24th at Whistler Secondary School, with the athlete fitness testing at 7:45am for U16 and FIS, and 8:10am for U10 to U14. We get a great turnout every year and it’s essential that our athletes and members participate.
Jeff Lackie and the team have put together some excellent sessions, including opportunities to get to know the coaches. We also have some fun and thoughtful discussions lined up with special guest alumni athletes from the National Team, and the athletes will be able to join that discussion this year. At the AGM portion of the meeting we will confirm new Board members for the upcoming year, and we also announce our new Honorary Members – the highest award the Club has for our most outstanding leaders and volunteers.
A highlight will be Jeff sharing his philosophy and insights on how to develop champions in life and sport at WMSC, reflecting on his experience at the World Cup level and seven seasons overseeing speed and dryland for Mikaela Shiffrin, the all-time World Cup win leader. Don’t miss it.

NOTICE OF 2026 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Whistler Mountain Ski Club will be held on Saturday October 24, 2026, at 11 am at the Whistler Secondary School, 8000 Alpine Way, Whistler, British Columbia for the following purposes:
To approve the Minutes of the 2025 AGM;
To receive the Report of the Board of Directors;
To receive the Financial Statements for the year ended April 30, 2026;
To appoint Auditors for the current fiscal year;
To set the number of Directors for 2026-2027 at 12;
To elect Directors for 2026-2027; and
To complete any other business.
Note that the Season Kick-Off Meeting will start at 9 am, with the AGM to follow. We look forward to seeing you at the Club’s Kick-Off Meeting and AGM on October 24th.
