Level 1 Introduction to Ski Racing

All WMSC parents should attend this course, whether you have previous ski racing experience or don’t know the difference between DH and SL.

Level One is a basic course prepared for race volunteers with little or no experience. The goal is simple, to inform you about alpine ski racing. The different types of race events will be explained, how they are organized, the required personnel to run a race and the volunteer roles and duties of those involved. All WMSC race events, from Nancy Greene to FIS races, are 100% volunteer run. Volunteering at races is fun and the best way to get to know your fellow club members. The Level 1 Officials course is your introduction to getting involved.
